Congratulations to Derek for earning competitive full time employment with Gar-Con! Derek is participating in a Senior Internship and has been hired in! Another successful transition into the real world of work!!!

As a 2022 Senior, Bradon participated in a WBL Senior Internship on the Grounds Crew at Southern Wesleyan University last school year. He worked hard and showed up everyday, He earned full time employment with full benefits and lots of vacation days! Way to go Bradon! Bradon is a prime example of the critical importance of transitioning students from school to the world of work- and not just any work- successful long term competitive employment! Way to go Bradon!!!

While students are participating in WBL, those students who are consumers of Voc Rehab and have an approved SC Voc Work Experience may earn a stipend. We work together with our Voc Rehab Counselor to prepare our students for competitive employment.
